Autumn App ("Autumn", "we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of every individual who uses our Android application and visits our website at autumnapp.art.
Unlike typical wallpaper or personalization apps that harvest user data, monetise user contacts, or bundle aggressive ad mediation SDKs, Autumn operates on a straightforward business model: we offer high-quality curated 4K dynamic wallpapers funded through transparent, optional Autumn Pro subscriptions and lifetime licenses.
2. Information We Process
We believe in extreme data minimization. We only process technical data strictly required to deliver wallpapers in appropriate resolutions and maintain app stability:
Device Specifications
Device model, manufacturer, Android OS version, and screen resolution / DPI. We use this exclusively to calibrate wallpaper previews and serve appropriately sized 4K bitmaps so they match your display aspect ratio without stretching or blur.
App Preferences & Local Favorites
Your saved wallpapers, custom color settings, and active Time-Shift schedules are stored locally inside the application's isolated on-device sandbox. They are never uploaded to our servers.
Anonymized Technical Diagnostics
When an unexpected error or image download failure occurs, anonymous diagnostic information (such as HTTP response code and operating system version) may be logged to help our engineering team diagnose and fix technical problems.
3. Android Device Permissions
Autumn requests only the minimal Android permissions necessary to perform wallpaper management and automated solar transitions:

4. Billing & Purchases (RevenueCat & Google Play)
Autumn Pro subscriptions and lifetime licenses are handled through Google Play Billing and synchronized via RevenueCat.
- No Payment Data: Autumn never sees, handles, or stores your credit card numbers, billing addresses, or bank details. All transactions are secured directly by Google.
- Anonymous App User ID: To verify your active Pro entitlements across devices and restores, RevenueCat assigns a pseudonymous, random App User ID to your device installation.
- Purchase Receipts: Google Play sends an encrypted receipt token to RevenueCat to validate that the subscription is legitimate and active.
5. Time-Shift & Astronomical Calculations
Autumn's signature Time-Shift engine synchronizes your screen with the daylight cycle (Morning, Dusk, and Night). To calculate solar transitions accurately:
- On-Device Calculation: Solar zenith algorithms run entirely on your local device using standard astronomical formulas.
- No Continuous GPS Tracking: Autumn does not access continuous, fine-grained GPS tracking. Approximate solar timing is derived either from your system timezone and clock, or from coarse device location calculated strictly on-device.
- Never Stored or Sold: Location coordinates are never uploaded to our servers, logged to analytics, or shared with third parties.
6. Third-Party Service Providers
We partner only with reputable infrastructure and service providers who comply with industry-leading privacy standards:
Provides secure APK distribution, licensing verification, and in-app purchase infrastructure.
Manages subscription status, receipt verification, and multi-device entitlement restoration.
7. Security & Data Retention
All network communication between the Autumn Android client and our server APIs is encrypted in transit using Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3). Wallpapers downloaded to your device reside within Android's secured sandbox storage, isolated from other installed applications.
Because we do not maintain user accounts or personal profiles, we do not store databases of your personal identities. If you choose to uninstall the application, all local cache, favorites, and settings are immediately wiped by Android OS.
8. GDPR, CCPA/CPRA & Your Rights
Depending on your geographic location (including the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and California), you possess specific legal rights regarding your personal data:
- Right to Access: You have the right to request information about data processed about you.
- Right to Deletion: You may request deletion of any pseudonymous identifiers associated with your purchase receipts.
- Do Not Sell My Information: We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information to data brokers or third parties.
- Non-Discrimination: We will never discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights.
